We, at SJSACH, believe that ‘Originality is freedom’. In order to enable our students to ‘feel’ Ayurveda with all its originality, their course begins by introducing them to the biggest tool for Ayurvedic study – Samskritam. Our college organised a ten day spoken sanskrit class from 11/07/2016 to 23/07/2016, in association with Samskrita Bharati, Uttara Tamilnadu. Sri Raghupathy, a Samskrita Bharati ‘Karyakarta’ trained our students through the ten day course of spoken sanskrit. Sri Radha Krishnan, Samskrita Bharati, addressed the students on the first and last days of the session. Sri Hareendran and Sri Sriram from Samskrita Bharati also interacted with the students. Our Principal, Prof.Dr.Ramadas Maganti and Prof.Dr.S.Swaminathan, HOD (Samskrit, Samhita and Sidhanta) made their graceful presence on the inaugural day of the Sibiram. The energetic course came to an end with students performing plays, story narrations, speeches and so on, independently and purely in Sanskrit. Their journey through Samskritam and Ayurveda marked a continuation with students actively going through the small book stall placed by Samskrita Bharati.
