The workshop on Ayurvedic Dietics – ‘Mahanasa’ was conducted by the department of Bhaishajya Kalpana and Rasasatra on 5th and 6th April 2018 at Mahaswami mandapam, SJSACH leaded by Dr. Archana and Dr. Nischitha. This programme was coordinated by Dr. B. SARAVANAN (HOD Rasasastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana) and Dr. Usha patil (HOD, Dept of Agadatantra), Dr. Deepak Raja (Asst. Prof., Dept. of Kriya Sharira), Dr. Manubolu Bhuvaneswari,
(Assistant Professor, Dept. of Rasashastra & Bhaishajyakalpana) and Dr. Vijay Shankar M.R (Asst. Prof., Dept of Agadatantra) also participated.
The programme started with a prayer song. After the demonstration by Dr. Archana,the students were given hands on training with the preparations. Almost 19 preparations were made on the 1st day and the 2nd day many Annakalpanas were prepared. This was followed by a quiz. Dr.Lakshmanan, alumnus,SJSACH, was a special guest and he shared many valuable thoughts. The backbone of this programme was Dr.Ramdas Maganti, Principal.
