The Breast Feeding Week was celebrated between 1/08/2017 and 07/08/2017 in SJSACH.
1. A quiz competition was conducted on 5th August 2017 amongst the final year students in the college auditorium.
2. A Guest lecture by Dr.Benzamin, Professor, Dept of Pediatrics, Saveetha Medical College, was invited as a guest speaker, who delivered a lecture on “Importance of Breast Feeding” on 10/07/2017.
3. Dr. Anuradha Maganti, Head of the Dept of Prasuti tantra and stree Roga, gave a talk on “Ayurvedic perspective of Breast feeding”.
4. A poster presentation for the students was organized on the topic of Breast Feeding.
In the valedictory function, students were awarded with prizes by the principal and the chief guest.
The programme was organized and coordinated by Dr. Anuradha Maganti, Head of the dept of Prasuti Tantra and Dr. Rakhee Panda, Assistant Professor, Dept of Kayachikitsa.
